The DBS Eminent Visa Signature Card is designed for health-conscious spenders and regular diners, offering 5% cashback on four Designated Categories: Dining, Sportswear, Fitness Clubs, and Medical Services. Each transaction must be HK$300 or more to qualify for the 5% rate. Other retail spending including online purchases, foreign currency transactions, and groceries earns 1%, while spending above the caps falls to a 0.4% base rate. The monthly caps are reasonably generous, with the 5% rate applying to the first HK$8,000 combined across all four designated categories, HK$20,000 for other retail at 1%, and HK$5,000 for e-wallet transactions. There are some notable exclusions to be aware of: dining does not include banquets, private parties, or food and beverage at hotels, department stores, and clubhouses, while medical excludes veterinary services. You must register via the DBS Card+ app to earn the bonus rewards.
